It involves the use of a broad knowledge base incorporating some theoretical concepts and requires the identification, analysis and evaluation of information from a variety of sources. Likely occupations which are applicable for this level of competency include Funeral Director (small business person), Funeral Conductor, Funeral Arranger, Funerals Coordinator, Cemetery/Crematoria Supervisor. Entry Advice The learner's language, literacy and numeracy levels are expected to be equivalent to Level 3 of the National Reporting System established by ANTA and the federal government which identifies adult English language, literacy and numeracy indicators of competence. Reading - a learner will be able to read and interpret texts of some complexity, integrating (where relevant) a number of pieces of information in order to generate meaning and interpret and extrapolate from texts containing data which is unambiguously presented in graphic, diagrammatic, formatted or visual form.
